Final training

There is only one month until my trip to Nepal and I have been training pretty hard lately. The two best methods are by far hang board excercises with my ice tools and drytooling in Hans Tavsens Park. I go drytooling about three or four times a week as it is just across the street from where I live. Here are a few photos that Martin Paldan shot of me while training recently:

Eye injury

This weekend I went ice climbing in Rjukan with Martin Ploug and we did Juvsøyla once again, simply because it is such good alpine training. The next day we did four multipitch WI5 routes to get some mileage on ice. This was a very good and efficient day of climbing, but unfortunately I broke off a large chunk of ice on the last pitch of the day and caught it right in the eye, scratching the cornea pretty badly. Ice climbing in Rjukan

This weekend I went ice climbing in Rjukan (Norway) with Martin Ploug. Today I finished a small drytooling guide for Hans Tavsens Park, where I train a lot. The grades vary from D3+ to D6 so it is not very hard, but it is technical and good training for the mountains:
